In Brandon, family practice physicians have the opportunity to obtain admitting privileges at the BRHC (Brandon Regional Health Centre). Southbridge Medical Clinic has a family medicine call group operating at BRHC that is optional to join.

Most physicians have had no formal billing training. New graduates are often left to figure out how to bill on their own. It can be a daunting task. Southbridge Medical Clinic does all it’s billing in house and is more than willing to educate physicians in their area of billing. The billing staff work hard to make sure you are being paid for all the hard work you do.

For example, Southbridge Medical Clinic has recently purchased a pocket ultrasound for family medicine and obs/gyn and colposcope for obs/gyn.

A city of approximately 50,000 residents, Brandon is the second largest city in Manitoba. Also home to the Brandon Regional Health Centre (BRHC), the city is the hub of Prairie Mountain Health and there are opportunities for clinic and hospital mixed practices as well as locum opportunities in the surrounding area. Brandon is a great place to raise a family as well. Coming from an agricultural heritage, the city has retained its friendly small town feel.
